Beer & Brisket: A Night With Duvel at Jerk Chicago

We hosted a special beer pairing event with Duvel last week, and the result was exactly as good as it sounds. Belgian golden ale meets smoked Jamaican brisket — a combination nobody explicitly asked for and everyone absolutely needed.

The Duvel rep walked us through the brewing process while our kitchen sent out plate after plate of smoked meats, island slaw, and festival fritters. The combination of Duvel's effervescence and the deep smoke of our pimento-wood brisket was genuinely remarkable.

Events like this remind us why we love what we do: connecting great food with great drink, bringing people together in West Town for experiences that go beyond the ordinary.
